Facial Rejuvination Acupuncture

What is it?

Facial Rejuvenation Acupuncture is a non-surgical method of reducing the signs of the aging process and works on deep wrinkles, fine lines, bags under the eyes, sagging, puffiness, drooping eyelids, double chin, large pores, dry skin or acne.
Although it is a cosmetic treatment, the whole body will receive the benefits of balance and rejuvenation.
How does it work?

Facial acupuncture points stimulate blood and circulation (qi & blood), which improve facial color and vitality. Additionally, acupuncture points on the body are also selected to promote tonification and reduce stress.
The needles utilized are Japanese made, super-fine, and painless.  They stimulate the production of collagen and improve circulation by reaching the dermis, deeper than any lotion or cream is able to reach.
After the first treatment, an assessment will be made as to how many will be needed for lasting effects. Results may vary depending on the lifestyle and nutrition of the individual. It is recommended to have 8-12 treatments for lasting results, with the occasional follow-up every month or two in order to maintian results.
Facial rejuvination acupuncture is non-invasive, less costly than surgical procedures, and draws upon the ancient Chinese wisdom related to longevity, beauty and harmony.

A study in 1996 in the International Journal of Clinical Acupuncture reported that 90% of the 300 cases treated with Cosmetic Acupuncture had marked effects including the leveling of wrinkles, improved facial muscle elasticity and overall rejuvenation.
A study in 2013 showed enhanced facial skin appearance in the subjects, increasing the water and oil content of the skin.
